Nutri-cereals and high-protein pulses have moved from niche health aisles into mainstream retail and institutional feeding programmes worldwide. India supplies both at scale.

The millet range

  • Finger millet (ragi) — calcium rich, popular in flour blends
  • Pearl millet (bajra) — staple in African and Middle Eastern markets
  • Foxtail, kodo, little, barnyard and proso millet — premium gluten-free lines
  • Sorghum (jowar) — food and feed grade

The pulses range

Kabuli and desi chickpeas, toor, moong, urad, masoor, rajma and lobia are supplied whole, split or polished depending on destination cuisine and processing.

Cleaning and quality standards

  • Sortex and gravity cleaning
  • Moisture at 12–13% maximum
  • Foreign matter within 1%
  • Uniform sizing and colour grading
  • Fumigation before stuffing
